Library Information

Desire, Quality Education, Innovation, Excellence & Dedication   are ‘Punchsutras’ of D.S.T.S. Mandal’s Institutations.

Library is the Soul of Institute. Being established in 2005.Now it has become a Central Library is formed in year 2016. Library occupies Total area of 2903Sq.meters. The library is well furnished with comfortable furniture for reading. Library has Books from Arts, Commerce, Biotechnology, D. Pharmacy & U.G. & P.G. Pharmacy. We also have 11^th & 12^th Science Books of Junior College. Library has good number of CD/DVD collection. Library also has 10 Newspapers for reading. Library Department is automated with SOUL 2.0 (Software for University Libraries) Integrated Library Management Software Designed and Developed by the INFLIBNET Centre. Library Management Software to manage different library activities such as Book Bar-coding, Acquisition and Cataloguing, Circulation, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), Serial control etc. Library Department made attempts to upgrade and update the library.

          Library has a separate section for the Students & Staff. Library Learning Resources are books & Periodicals, which are made available to the students, faculty staff and research scholars. Library has 100 Mbps optical fibre BSNL Broad Band Internet Facility with wifi for students, faculty staff and research scholars. There are two unites ‘Digital Library & Research Cell’. Each unit has four multimedia computers & all in one printer facility for scanning & printing. These computers have DELNET E-Resources facility with E-Books , E-Journals & Union Catalogue of  7391 members for Inter Library Loan Facility throughout India. 

        The Library Department has provided Book Bank Scheme for students & also “Best Library User Award” given by library. Library organizes Book Exhibitions for students and staff. In library all books arranged with ‘DDC 20’ Classification System. Students & Staff use all the facilities of Library regularly.

Library Working Hours

The Library remains closed on Sundays and on University Holidays. The Library is, however, kept open even on holidays during examination days for the convenience of readers.
